You may have heard the term “house church,” like those that are fueling the flames of the church movement in East Asia, but what is a micro-church? Consider small, or micro, gatherings not limited to meeting in houses, micro church movements can start anywhere, the workplace, the gym, or a school.

Micro church members typically have overlapping affinity groups, neighbors in the same neighborhood, co-workers in the same office, classmate in the same school.

Expansion of micro-churches vary, from starting small and branching off, or multiplying into other micro-churches over time, or growing into a larger congregation.
