Who We Are
Nate and Jessica Gilbert started making disciples in 2010 as Cru missionaries in places like Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, San Antonio, North Africa, and Colorado. Now, they serve in the Dallas-Fort Worth area developing a network of microchurches with an emphasis on our Five Core Values. Whether working with college students, neighborhoods, or churches, they are consistently passionate about empowering believers to live out the Great Commission of Matthew 28 and the Great Mission of Isaiah 61. They raise three young kids and often host neighbors for meals and Bible studies, showing what it means to live as church without a building.

Our Calling
Quest Network began as an idea to reintegrate two parts of the body of Christ that are all too often severed in the United States: kingdom invitation (evangelism) and kingdom justice.
Nate and Jessica did not come up with a new concept. We see Jesus embody both invitation and justice throughout his life and ministry. Rather, Quest is a reimagining of what these two elements can look like within a multiplying spiritual family in everyday spaces.
Our desire is to empower ordinary followers of Jesus to form spiritual families that live out His way, invite others into the Kingdom, and pursue justice, reconciliation, and flourishing in their communities.
Our History
2022 — Quest Principles Put Into Practice
Jess and Nate began implementing the foundational principles of Quest within a neighborhood gathering in Arlington.
2024 — Quest Identity Developed
Michael Shields and Marlow McGuire Jr. consulted with Nate as Quest's identity, mission, and distinctives were further developed.
2024 — First Microchurch Commissioned
Fielder Church commissioned Nate and Jess to plant Quest's first microchurch.
2025 — Quest Becomes an Independent Entity
Quest Network became its own legal and organizational entity while continuing to receive accountability and shepherding from Fielder Church through board involvement as Quest developed its own organizational structure.
Accountability
As Quest has grown into its own organization, we have intentionally developed structures that provide both organizational accountability and spiritual shepherding.
Fielder Church continues to provide accountability and shepherding through board involvement, while Quest develops its own governance, leadership, and organizational structures.
Our goal is not independence without accountability, but healthy interdependence allowing Quest to develop its own identity and leadership while remaining connected to the wider body of Christ.
