What is a house church?
The earliest churches in the Bible met in homes.
Today many followers of Jesus are rediscovering this simple way of gathering together.
Instead of a building, we gather in a living room to pray, discuss Scripture, and enjoy a more natural environment for relationship building.

We meet weekly on Sunday evenings from 5-7 pm near Collins and Green Oaks in the 76018 zip code.

Visiting for the first time is simple—we’ll welcome you at the door and help you feel at home.
Some of our members speak Spanish, some speak English, some both. We weave both languages into our conversations and translate as needed to ensure everyone gets to participate.
We typically begin our meeting with a meal together, everyone participates. For the latter half of our gathering, we separate into adults and children’s groups.
Trusted volunteer members of the church lead our kid’s ministry in a separate part of the house so we can all engage in age appropriate activities.
We may sing worship songs, read the Bible, pray, learn a new skill, or participate in community engagement.

Leadership
Nate and Jessica Gilbert lead and shepherd Hunt Club Church. They raise three young kids and are actively engaged in their public school community. After more than 15 years in ministry, they sensed a growing need among neighbors today: for the Church to step out of the building and into everyday life with their neighbors. Their home has become a place where friends, neighbors, and families can gather, share meals, ask questions, and learn to follow Jesus together.
Nate y Jessica Gilbert dirigen y pastorean la Iglesia Hunt Club. Crían a tres hijos pequeños y participan activamente en la comunidad de su escuela pública. Tras más de 15 años en el ministerio, percibieron una creciente necesidad entre los vecinos: que la Iglesia salga del edificio y se integre a la vida cotidiana con sus vecinos. Su hogar se ha convertido en un lugar donde amigos, vecinos y familias pueden reunirse, compartir comidas, hacer preguntas y aprender a seguir a Jesús juntos.
